It should stay mainly dry through the evening and overnight although a little drizzle is possible over the Pennines where it will be very misty. Some cloud breaks likely with a slight frost in places, along with some patchy mist.
Thursday: max: 3 C
Frost and patchy fog will clear, then it should be a mostly dry day with variable, often large amounts of cloud along with some bright spells. Remaining cold.
Outlook for Friday to Sunday:
Dry on Friday and most of Saturday but still rather cold with overnight frost and fog patches. Becoming much milder on Sunday but also windy with rain at times.
